   Electric fireplaces are designed to look like traditional wood-burning units. Some models fit into existing hearths, and others are stand-alone units complete with mantel and screen. The internal units are crafted to mimic flickering flames, providing a romantic ambience to any room.

2. Easy installation and convenient portability

   Electric fireplaces are simple to install. Whether purchasing an insert to fill an existing hearth or a stand-alone unit, installation is as simple as plugging in the unit and following the manufacturer’s instructions. When moving, it’s easy to take with you, as there are no complicated attachments or hook-ups.

3. Remote-controlled warmth without the hassle of building a fire

   Some units feature a remote control that will give you the ability to modify flame intensity, flicker speed, heat output, and power. Built-in heaters of electric fireplaces work as simply as conventional space heaters but are much safer. Warm your room without having to purchase or store firewood, worry about soot or cleaning, or creosote buildup.

4. Stand-alone units are great for homes, offices, condos, or apartments

   Easy to install and complete with beautiful mantels, these attractive units make great additions to smaller homes. Once installed, they have a built-in look and can be adorned with decorative items. Corner units make excellent use of wasted space in smaller apartments and provide all the advantages that electric fireplaces offer.

5. Pollution-free, with no toxic fumes

   Since there is no real flame or burning, electric fireplaces present no toxic fumes or smell. There is no smoke or pollution, creosote, or airborne embers.

The majority of our electric fireplaces are ready to plug into any standard 120V outlet. Our built-in electric fireplaces require hard-wire installation. Installation is quick and inexpensive.

Our electric fireplaces can function as the primary heat source for rooms 10 &ndash 15 ft and as supplemental heat for rooms 15 – 20 ft.

You can adjust the brightness of the flame and on some models (28-inch series and 33-inch series) you can turn on or off the down light, which illuminates the inside of the fireplace.

The heater works independently and can be shut off so you may enjoy the ambience of the fireplace with the flame effect but no heat.

Electric is on average much cheaper than other forms of heating your home. Electricity rates average 2 cents/hour without heat and 7 cents/hour with heat. (Electricity rates vary depending on location.) In comparison, gas fireplace manufacturers regularly advertise running costs of 17 cents/hour.

All models are tested to UL standards and will automatically shut off in the unlikely event they overheat. They are clean-burning and do not put fumes and moisture in your home as do “vent-free” fireplaces.

All ClassicFlame™ inserts and built-in fireplaces are certified for use in both the US and Canada by CSA International. They are certified to CSA Standard C22.2 No. 46 and meet or exceed UL 2021.

The fireplace will support most plasma and LCD televisions under 100 lbs

Your new electric fireplace will ship within three to four days of your order. Transit times vary depending on location, but you should expect delivery within five to twelve days of your order. We ship via UPS.

If you require that your product be shipped more quickly, send us a certified check or money order and we will ship immediately.
